Bishop’s Stortford Musical Theatre Company (BSMTC) is an amateur dramatics group who perform musical theatre.
Our wonderfully inclusive and supportive community believes in building each other up, celebrating successes, and helps every member to build their confidence in their performance skills and abilities, whilst encouraging them to push themselves further.

They’re creepy, they’re kooky, they’re altogether spooky… and they’re coming to Bishop’s Stortford!
Join us this November for The Addams Family, a wonderfully macabre musical comedy packed with catchy songs, outrageous characters, big laughs, romance and, of course, the wonderfully weird Addams family.
Wednesday Addams has grown up and fallen in love. There’s only one problem — her new boyfriend, Lucas Beineke, comes from a completely ordinary family. When Wednesday asks her parents to welcome Lucas and his family for dinner, Gomez and Morticia are faced with a shocking revelation: their little girl is growing up.
As the two families come together for one unforgettable evening, secrets are revealed, relationships are tested and the Addams household descends into glorious chaos.
Expect fantastic music, hilarious comedy, spectacular characters and plenty of darkly delightful surprises as we bring this much-loved family to life on stage.
